To share our love of painting with others by teaching online Zoom classes.
Susan Phillips
My first painting class was at my sister Karen’s kitchen table over 30 years ago. I continued educating myself by belonging to the Society of Decorative Painters, attending several local chapters’ paint-ins and seminars. I’ve been teaching for over 20 years for my local chapter. While working 40+ hours a week, my yearly vacations were attending conventions around the country.
Now that I am retired, I decided to share my love of painting through online classes. It’s time to paint and finish all those designs that I have always wanted to paint, while teaching them to others. I have also begun teaching at conventions.
My goal is to share and teach others while having a fun time!

I have been in the craft business for many years, beginning my painting journey in 1985 when I started painting at the Tole Shop in Glendale, Arizona. I discovered a true passion for the craft, which led to an invitation to begin teaching there in 1992. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching both in person at my studio and virtually via Zoom for multiple painting clubs.
Currently, I am an active member of six different painting clubs, both locally and out of state. I am passionate about continuing to share my experience and love for painting with the community.
I look forward to connecting with you all.
